Fishing Report

How’s fishing? We’ve had a couple of great weeks of fishing since my last report.  Fishing has truly been awesome with some of the biggest fish that I have seen in a while. In the past two weeks we have had over 100 lunkers. We’ve had several 2 pounders, 3 pounders, 4 pounders, one  5 pounder, one 7 pounder and a 10 pounder. At one point last week we actually ran out of lunker pins.  So yeah, fishin has been great. We had a little rain which hasn’ affected the stream.

So whats working? Now depending what zone your fishing, I would have to say all three zones had several fish caught with brighter and flashy colors like white and orange. In zone 1 and 2-orange mop flies, white mop fly, white thread jig(aka floss jig), bed spread mini jig, tri color original glo ball were just a few of the mini jigs that were working great. If you like throwing marabou jigs, then I would go with black and yellow which absolutely covered the lunker board this week. Seemed liked every other lunker brought up was b&y! White, orange, salmon also were popular. Copper, bumblebee, sparkle white and sparkle pink were just a handful of Rooster Tails that several angler said was working. PowerBait in white, salmon peach, cheese, pink and orange were popular in zone three.  We hope to have another good weekend of fishing. Good luck, be safe and we’ll see you on the stream.
