Fishing Report 9/4/2019

How's Fishing?

Fishing has been very good especially over the holiday weekend. The water was up and murky, but the trout were in a feeding frenzy. The stream is going back down day by day. The stream is still moving quite fast and is still cloudy. There happens to be a very nice Mayfly hatch happening, although getting a good drift on top is a challenge at times. Speaking of Mayflys', The Mayfly Project Fly Tying Night is at the Bennett Spring Church of God Annex Building - www.TheMayFlyProject.com . Everyone is welcome to attend. All ages and skill levels are welcome. All tying supplies are furnished for these events.  A $5.00 donation is appreciated to provide supplies and support Kid's Fishing Events!  Friday September 13th, 2019 6-8 P.M. See you on the stream!

Quote of the Week

There don't have to be a thousand trout in a river; let me locate a good one and I'll get a thousand dreams out of him before I can catch him - and, if I catch him, I'll turn him loose.
