Fishing Report
How’s fishing? Wow were has this summer gone? We have had a couple great weeks of fishing. We had a couple of cool days last week but the heat is here again. The fishing has been good. I was advised they stocked a large amount of fish Thursday night- and this morning many anglers reported great fishing. Hillary and my daughter Ellie went out on Monday and has some success. We again were using the white thread jig which landed several nice fish. I also threw a Klink Hammer dry fly which worked pretty well. I must confess that it’s been a while since I threw a dry and my reflexes were not there to set the hook. I spoke with several anglers who reported success with stripping cracklebacks with a sink tip.
