I would like to dedicate this report to a long time Bennett resident who passed away last night after a long illness. His name is Jim (Jimbo to his friends) Surette. Jimbo was the kind of person who walked into a room and everyone there was just a little bit better because of his presence. He brought out the best in us all.
I would also like to offer our thoughts and prayers to the people who were at Roaring River this last week during their flash flood. I'm sure it was a terrifying experience.
Bennett escaped the really high water this time. It looks like the weather this week will give us all a chance to dry out and return to the levels we are accustomed to.
Kids Fishing Day promises to be sunny and warm with little wind. Perfect for these kiddos!
Have a great week!
