Fishing Report 3/18/2019
How's Fishing?
Fishing has been a bit more challenging this week due to water clarity and depth. Minor adjustments in technique and the location that you fish may be necessary. Darker patterns for lures are helpful as well as fishing them between four and five feet deep. The stream is receding back into its banks at a steady pace. The water is a light chocolate milk color, but is clearing up. Springtime weather is creeping back to the Bennett Spring area and we could not be more thrilled. Come enjoy the sunshine, rainbows, and browns with us at Bennett Spring State Park!

Quote of the Week
There were lots of people who committed crimes during the year who would not have done so if they had been fishing, and I assure you that the increase in crime is due to a lack of those qualities of mind and character which impregnate the soul of every fisherman except those who get no bites.
