Fishing Report
How's Fishing
We have had a great couple weeks of fishing. The weather seems to be trying to make up its mind on whether it wants to be warm or not. The stream is a little murky though you are still able to sight fish. Several nice trout have been brought up this week. The fish that were brought up were caught with several different methods. Several fishermen have been getting the fly rods out and using mini jigs. The popular jigs this week were John Deere Mini, Peacock mini jig, white thread mini jig, bed spread thread jig, and the bedspread mini jig with the tail. Several anglers like to use the mini jig and indicator technique which is drifting with the jig suspended from the indicator approximately 3 to 4 feet. Several angers were also using dry flies, such as the elk hair caddis, renegade and parachute Adams. Several different colors of Rooster Tails were working well in several different colors, such as the fluorescent orange and pink. The dark colors, like skunk, black and brown were also working well. In zone three, PowerBait in Sherbet, Salmon Peach and Cheese were working wonderfully. We look to have a beautiful weekend. I hope everyone has a chance to get out and enjoy the stream. Have fun, be safe and we'll see you on the stream. Happy Easter Everyone!
