Fishing Report
How's Fishing?
We have had some cold weather this week though even with that said, I think we had a good week of fishing. Several nice fish were brought up between 1 and 2 pounds. The water is flowing pretty good and the steam is murky though it is getting clearer everyday!
Last couple of evenings the stream has had a couple of good hatches with a bug resembling a stonefly. Seen a lot more top water action this week with dry flies. So if you fish a dry-Renegades, parachute Adams and Quill Gordons were useful this week. The ginger snap, orange & white and black & yellow Marabou were popular in zone 1and 2 this week. We also had a few customers that stated little green canker worms were falling off the trees in the wind so they put on a chartreuse mopfly and were successful. It looks like we are going to have a nice sunny weekend. I hope everyone is able to get out and get a line in the water. Stay safe and have a great weekend. Tight lines and as always, we will see you on the stream!
