Fishing Report 04/29/2022

How's Fishing?  Despite the raised and murky water, fishing this week has been good. The fly case has been opened this week as several anglers reported they were throwing cracklebacks, renegades, Copper Johns and having some success. If you enjoy fishing the glow balls, the "original tri color" has done very well this week. Last week I added a little red to the black and yellow marabou  which I have named a "Bleeding Black and Yellow." So far the reviews have been really positive. If you are having trouble in zone 3, the Pautzke Balls O Fire Salmon eggs work very well during  murky water conditions, so you may consider trying them.

We do have rain in the forecast but it looks to be a nice weekend of fishing. Last weekend was Veterans Free Fishing at the park. I had the honor of meeting  several veterans on the stream. Next weekend , May 7th is Kids Free Fishing, so make sure you bring your kiddo to Bennett to enjoy the stream.  Have a great weekend everyone and good luck on the stream.
